TrustAI Reaches a New Milestone: Launch of a Europe-Wide Survey Among Higher Education Lecturers

This week, the consortium of the TrustAI – Higher Education as a Catalyst for the Trustworthy and Sustainable Use of AI project held an online meeting marking the official start of Work Package 3 (WP3).
The new phase focuses on launching a comprehensive survey among higher education lecturers in the humanities, aimed at exploring their experiences, attitudes, and needs regarding the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the teaching process.

The insights gathered will serve as the foundation for developing targeted training materials and microlearning resources to support educators in the ethical, responsible, and effective use of AI in education.

In parallel, project partners continue to make steady progress on Work Package 2 (WP2), which is dedicated to the development of an AI curriculum for students in the humanities.
The curriculum consists of 15 microlearning units, covering topics such as AI ethics, Green Prompting, data analysis, generative AI, AI in communication, and cultural heritage.

The project coordinator, University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (ULSIT, Bulgaria), ensures strategic leadership and scientific coordination, while MECB Ltd. (Malta) leads the development of the TrustAI Digital Training Incubator — an interactive learning platform that will host all educational content and digital tools in an accessible online environment.

The next partner meeting will take place in Malta 🇲🇹, where the teams will outline the next steps for implementing and testing the TrustAI Learning Hub.

The TrustAI project aims to establish a sustainable educational framework for ethical and responsible AI, targeting lecturers and students in the humanities and social sciences, and bridging academic and business expertise to promote a more ethical technological future.
