
TrustAI – Higher Education as a Catalyst for the Trustworthy and Sustainable Use of Artificial Intelligence
The TrustAI project brings together universities, businesses, and non-governmental organizations from five countries with the goal of developing curricula and training resources for the ethical, trustworthy, and sustainable use of artificial intelligence in the humanities.
Project 2024-1-BG01-KA220-HED-000249185 is implemented during the period 01.10.2024 – 30.09.2026 with the support of the Erasmus+ programme.
Who Are We?
We are part of the TrustAI project — an initiative under the Erasmus+ program, dedicated to developing and implementing a reliable and sustainable approach to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the humanities.
Our mission is to prepare future specialists and educators for the challenges posed by technology through innovative educational programs and resources. In collaboration with academic institutions, business organizations, and experts from various fields, the TrustAI project creates the foundation for ethical, ecological, and socially responsible use of AI in the humanitarian sector.



Main Objectives of the Project
With the growing role of artificial intelligence in all areas of life, there is an increasing need for specialists who understand not only the technological capabilities but also the ethical and social implications of its application.

The project is coordinated by the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (ULSIT) in Bulgaria, in partnership with leading universities and organizations from Spain, Poland, Malta, and Italy. Funding organization
The TrustAI project is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, which promotes educational cooperation and innovation across Europe. Through Action KA220-HED – Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education, the programme provides support for projects aimed at modernizing and enhancing curricula, training, and teaching methods in universities. Funding from Erasmus+ enables TrustAI to develop innovative approaches to education in the field of artificial intelligence and ethics, as well as to build a sustainable platform for the development of knowledge and skills among students and academics in the humanities.
