Partners
The TrustAI project is implemented through the collaboration of six leading organizations across Europe – universities, technology clusters, consultancy companies, and non-governmental organizations. The partnership combines academic expertise, scientific research, and business know-how to create innovative educational solutions in the field of artificial intelligence.
Each partner contributes with specific knowledge and competencies – from developing curricula and digital resources, to conducting psychological and ethical research on AI, and applying innovation and sustainable practices. This combination ensures a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach that will foster trust and sustainability in the use of AI within the humanities.
Together, the partners build a strong network of academia, research centers, and business, which will guarantee the high quality of results and their wide application across Europe and beyond.
University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (ULSIT) - Bulgaria
Type: Public university
Main Mission: Training highly qualified specialists in IT and library sciences, fostering academic-business collaboration.
Projects and Experience: Participates in numerous projects in computer science, artificial intelligence, and national security. Example projects include APInno and NAVIGATE.
Clúster Canarias Excelencia Tecnológica (CET) - Spain
Type: Non-governmental organization
Main Mission: Supporting innovation and technological development in the Canary Islands through training, research, and sustainable digital transformation.
Projects and Experience: CET participates in projects like EMPLEATIC and CANARIAS CONECTA DIGITAL, which promote employment and sustainable development in the region.
Akademia Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna w Lodzi (AHE) - Poland
Type: Higher education institution
Main Mission: Providing educational and research programs with a focus on digital technologies and social sciences.
Projects and Experience: AHE develops innovative teaching methodologies and online learning platforms. It participates in international projects related to digitization and inclusiveness, such as DigiStudent and DAE, aimed at modernizing education.
MACDAC Engineering Consultancy Bureau Ltd (MECB) - Malta
Type: Consultancy firm
Main Mission: Supporting innovation and training through engineering and technological consultancy services.
Projects and Experience: Specializes in training related to Industry 4.0 and sustainable development. Key projects include Restart 4.0 and CRANE 4.0, focused on digital education and environmental transformation.
Acta Foundation - Bulgaria
Type: Non-governmental organization
Main Mission: Promoting cooperation between business and education to build a sustainable and inclusive environment.
Projects and Experience: Acta Foundation undertakes initiatives in educational and innovation development focused on sustainability and digitalization, such as SustainEd and FuturENG, which bring together business and educational institutions to develop green skills and competencies.
University of Torino (UniTo) - Italy
Type: Higher education institution
Main Mission: One of the largest and most prestigious universities in Italy, with a focus on research and innovation across diverse disciplines.
Projects and Experience: The university contributes through the Department of Psychology, which offers expertise in areas like ethics and social issues related to artificial intelligence, including topics such as biases and social prejudice.
