Within the framework of the TRUST AI project, an innovative training program has been created for humanities students in higher education.
The course is structured as a 6 ECTS university program (180 hours, 9 weeks) and offers micro-learning through short, targeted modules that combine theory, practical exercises, and critical reflection.
The program aims to prepare future professionals for the ethical and sustainable use of Artificial Intelligence in sectors such as education, cultural heritage, journalism, and social development.
The focus is on:
Ethics and Trust – recognizing and mitigating bias in AI systems, protecting personal data, and using generative technologies responsibly.
Sustainability – an introduction to green prompting and strategies to reduce the carbon footprint of AI.
Practical Skills – utilizing tools for text processing, data visualization, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and generative AI.
Interdisciplinary Approach – linking technological knowledge with humanities practices and real-world cases from the labor market and society.
Leadership and Critical Thinking – training students to become active leaders and promoters of responsible AI implementation.
The program was developed by an international consortium of universities, scientific organizations, and corporate partners under the Erasmus+ project TRUST AI (2024-1-BG01-KA220-HED-000249185).
